Who we are

Domhan Green Society ("DGS") is a company limited by guarantee registered in Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Questions, access requests and complaints go to privacy@domhangreen.com. We answer within 30 days.

What we collect

Account data: name, email, password hash, hub, professional field, and optionally a LinkedIn URL and CV.

Verification data: identity document reference, right-to-work status and date checked, credential recognition status. We record that a check was made and its outcome — we do not retain copies of identity documents after verification.

Programme data: which sessions you registered for and attended, and mentor pairings.

Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages viewed, retained in aggregate for 14 months.

Why we process it, and our lawful basis

To run your membership and programme registrations — performance of a contract with you.

To verify identity and work-rights before introducing you to an employer — your explicit consent, withdrawable at any time.

To publish aggregate impact statistics — legitimate interest in transparency. Aggregates never allow re-identification.

To send the Social ESG & Talent Report — consent, with one-click unsubscribe in every email.

Who sees your data

Partner employers see only the profile fields you mark visible, and only after you accept a specific shortlist.

Mentors see your professional profile once a pairing is confirmed.

Processors: our hosting provider (EU region), email delivery and payment processing for donations. Each is bound by a data processing agreement.

We never sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not run advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Active accounts: for as long as the account exists, plus 12 months.

Verification outcomes: 24 months, then deleted or re-verified.

Financial records relating to donations: 6 years, as required by Irish tax law.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email privacy@domhangreen.com.

You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) at any time.
